BACKGROUND

The Maple Bear Education System™ was developed for CECN Global Schools to bring a Canadian designed early learning program for children to the world. It was created by Canadian experts and is being constantly upgraded to ensure that the Maple Bear Education System reflects the very best in early childhood education.
CECN Global Schools was established by the Canadian Education Centre Network (CECN) a private non profit company set up in 1995 with the support of Government of Canada dedicated to marketing Canada as destination for international students. In March, 2007 the Maple Bear Education System (TM) became part of CECN Global Schools with Mr. Rodney Briggs as the President and Chairman and Mr. Gerald Macleod as the Vice President of Global Schools Ltd.
ABOUT

Maple Bear brings in the expertise to introduce children to the world of learning in a very systematic and scientific way. The program is very different from the conventional style of education and is an absolute approach to experiential learning or learning by experience. The program is completely stress-free for children and teachers and therefore aims to create a positive image in the child towards learning.

We deliver our programs through our finely tuned Maple Bear Canadian Pre Schools across India. The classrooms are specially developed keeping children in mind and are very flexible to accommodate group activities, independent learning, painting/writing activities, dramatics, computers, free-play etc. The program caters to the age group of 18 months to 5 years at Toddlers, Nursery, Jr. KG and Sr. KG levels. It also uniquely offers a structured program involving parents through Mums & Tots program as well as offers in addition to the weekly program a Saturday program for the JKG and SKG level.

Maple Bear Pre School follows the 'how to learn?' than 'what to learn?' philosophy. There is a strong emphasis on developing the ability to become competent self-learners and therefore Language (English and Local) and Books constitute an essential part of the program. Special care has been taken to design English language activities and selecting books for these young learners.

Teachers are always considered a critical part of the program and therefore there is an extensive teacher training program and numerous teaching resources available to them.

GLOBAL PRESENCE

Maple Bear Pre school program currently is being offered in India, Bangladesh, Korea, Brazil Turkey, Vietnam, Paris and we continue to receive interest from several other countries.

MODEL

Maple Bear Pre School in India is offered through a franchisee network of schools. Special care has been taken to coordinate the program with the Indian school system and therefore it fits in easily in an existing school.

Maple Bear Pre School Program, due to its effective and unconventional methods of teaching draws immediate attention from parents and society and results in larger enrolments than any other pre-school.

The delivery of the program at each level is very prescriptive and therefore needs minimum efforts to implement. Prescriptive curriculum gives a time-tested methodology of making children learn.
