The lighting ceremony at Four Seasons Hotel in Mumbai has ushered a new era in hotel hospitality with the highest standards of hospitality that one can imagine.
Ontario Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Honourable Sandra Pupatello, officially inaugurated the Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai's rooftop signage on 14 January, 2008 in an intimate lighting ceremony 135 meters above the Arabian Sea, considered to be the company's first property on the Indian subcontinent.

Four Seasons, known world over for its innovative ingenuity, luxury and high standards is the latest Canada's series of great success stories, here in Mumbai said Minister Pupatello. Isadore Sharp, the company's CEO, and native Ontarian said the province was remarkable and possessed true entrepreneurial spirit. He was proud to mention the province's ability to compete and win in a competitive global economy.

As the Hotel approaches its opening, the lighting ceremony is symbolic of achievement of the strategic alliance between Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and Magus Estates & Hotels Pvt. Ltd according to Uday Rao, Hotel Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai.

Four Seasons is to offer the finest hospitality now to India at the Worli (an upcoming place) location in Mumbai which is seen as a move to add to the collection of the existing Asian properties.
